I had an 87 CRX and a 95 Miata and the CRX was fine. The Miata was the tight fit but I still daily drove both.

If you don't fit in a Mazda 2 then you probably wouldn't fit in a CRX either. I'm a pretty big dude and I've squeezed myself into a lot of tiny cars. The Mazda 2 would seem roomy to me compared to some of the stuff I've driven.

Was going to say exactly this. The only reason we don't pay as much attention to these is they are holding they're value too damn well. The absolute cheapest one you can find used is $8k. They are in b-spec racing in both rally and track racing.
