Exactly. It's very misleading to pretend you have an $18k crossover when it's $1k for delivery (personally I think that's a tad high) and then another $1,500 for AC. I'm fine with a stripper model with no AC on maybe a budget sports car or an economy car but on a $20k crossover it just seems like a lie.
I'm going to answer the same way I do ever time I get the opportunity to use this answer.
The Sunriser 400
I see every one of these except for the VW and the Peugeot in my small Ohio town. Also the Pulsar was my first car.
As soon as I started reading this there is only one thing I could think of: The upcoming diesel motor going into the Canyon and the Colorado. Make it possible to option that with a manual transmission and we'll be good.
It doesn't include air, it has to be added and at that point why not just step up to the next trim.
When you get to the end there is an option for the power and air package which when added removes the long sought after feature of "air conditioning bypass."
Anyway, here's the link to the Renegade configurator. Show us in the comments how you built yours. I went with the Sport trim in that cool blue color, 4x4 instead of front-wheel drive (because COME ON) and no options besides the Sound Group, which gets me a baby UConnect screen with Bluetooth audio. And a manual…
Seven hundred freakin' horse freakin power.

Fixed that for you.
I HATE MY MOM, A LOT.
More importantly, best falling for trollbait I've seen on Jalopnik in a while. I'm used to people buying into this on Gawker and Jezebel but it's tough trolling over here.
HEY! Don't make fun of us GM fanboy weirdos with our STS rear mounted turbos!
I remember the original Juke ad for the donut run. That was the first thing that drew my interest to them.
Why can't they produce cars as awesome as they can produce ads. I'm not saying they need a treaded Juke. I'd just like an IDX.
Exactly.
