I’m putting this thing in my purse in case anyone has a headache and I can offer some Advil.

This was definitely a headline that gave me a major doubletake for a few seconds. Then I said “awwww” and all was right with the world.

Hmmm.. I smell fear. I sense reluctance. Reluctance to comment. People waiting, peeking in, to see who commented, what was said, about what part, parts. Maybe I shouldn’t be here either. Shit.

So..... how about that Google I/O ??? : )

i saw this on twitter and i dont think i’ll ever be the same

I can’t image any player will have a four-year stretch like Bonds had from 2001 to 2004. The stats, which are otherworldly, really don’t do justice to how fucking amazing he was during that time and how much of an impact he had on games.

Oh my God, thank you. I thought I hallucinated this happening.

The candidate I worked for is running again.

Why not both all three? How about an old man ninja boyfriend for hire? Butler suit optional.

My mom’s mil wore a literal burlap sack to her wedding.

So, similar to when people are in mourning and where black, she’s in briding and wearing white for a year?

This is the most uplifting story I have read today. Your dad is a hero.

Most definitely. Military dress of any kind is encouraged, and frankly awesome.

Is being a ‘recent bride’ a thing? I thought the only person who was supposed to wear white at a wedding was the bride, even if someone else got married literally the day before.

This only applies to women (dresses) though, right? A friend of mine made an invited sailor wear his (cotton) dress blues to her July wedding. There is no way military dress whites impede on the bride’s dress.

True story: some guest’s +1 did this at my cousin’s wedding; it was basically a wedding dress if you married (hah) a little black dress and a wedding dress. Office printer paper white and more lace than the actual bride’s dress—justified, of course, by the fact that the +1 had been married 5 months ago and considered

My MIL wore a white and silver beaded dress to my wedding. Oh yes, she did. And brought along a racy red dress for a costume change for the reception. A COSTUME CHANGE.

A new bride? Oh ffs. You’re a bride on your wedding day and a wife or spouse thereafter. Also...no one actually cares once they leave your reception.

Christ, that’s bad. My aunt’s MIL wore head to toe BLACK (with a lace face cover on her hat) and told everyone that she was in mourning for her only son throughout the wedding. That was fun!
