Yeah, I don’t think anyone is arguing that. Netherrealm is the exception, not the rule.

Many folks who played the recent titles from Netherrealm would argue they also do story modes in fighters right.
An easter egg in Battlefield 5 where every soldier on the battlefield turns into a woman with two prosthetic arms, as well as katanas on their backs and crazy warpaints.
Now that Fortnite’s got that cross-play and cross-progression going on with all platforms, you can take advantage of the new cosmetics included with the bundle on any platform. The v-bucks, however, stay locked to the Switch account, so spend them there.

The changes to weapon slot mechanics was a deliberate move to return to Destiny 1. The “proliferation of shotguns” is due to people wanting to be able to use weapons they used in D1 as secondary weapons, and because Bungie has so few sniper rifles in the current drop tables for Legendary weapons proper compared to…
They literally just did a humongous rebalance of the PvP sandbox without affecting how those weapons performed in PvE. Not to mention recent patches prior to that buffed weapons solely in the PvE or PvP halves. That sets a precedent going forward.
Unlike (most) sniper rifles since the weapon slot changes, Sleeper isn’t a secondary weapon, meaning it shouldn’t necessarily be balanced in PvP in the same way sniper rifles are.
Sleeper is good in Crucible, but not “my fucking god this thing is pervasive” good, because unlike in Gambit, you can’t see the nametags of enemy players through walls when fighting them, so you can’t pre-charge the weapon and peek-fire them to instantly kill them. Charging and firing the Sleeper puts you at a huge…
I want the damage for Sleeper tuned for Gambit’s PvP half only. You would know that if you read my comment in full.
As I said in another response, if the solution to the Sleeper is to also use a Sleeper, that supports the argument of nerfing it, because if a weapon is so strong that the only reasonable counterplay is to also make use of it, then you have a problem on your hands.
Reducing the aim assist and projectile magnetism works. Making it require a headshot works.
Doesn’t the catalyst cut down the charge time by a full .3 seconds? For an LFR, that’s a huge difference. That puts Sleeper’s charge-time on-par with Main Ingredient.
Aye, I think if the nametags were only visible for a few seconds, the problem would pretty much go away, since that’s the big reason Sleeper is such a monster (not the only reason, but it is the big one). If tags faded, then you’d know where players were and how many motes they have, but you wouldn’t be able to…
It’s supposed to be so you can see how many motes they’re carrying so you can shut them down if they’re trying to stockpile. If you’re unfamiliar with Gambit, as you kill non-player enemies, they drop “motes of dark” that you can deposit at your base to stall the enemy team with a boss at their own base. The more…
The problem with the gun is that it’s too easy as an invader to start charging behind a wall and peek on people whose nametags you can see through walls. You’re really kidding yourself if you think this weapon isn’t extremely problematic; there’s a difference between a strong Gambit exotic, like Queensbreaker or…
The problem with Sleeper in Gambit is that you can see enemy nametags through walls when invading, meaning you can pre-charge and quickly peek to delete pretty much anyone foolish enough to try and fight you. Since you can also see them coming if they try to flank you, trying to counter it by being sneaky isn’t an…
I like how the locations where zombies can spawn are miniature versions of locations from zombies maps (besides Asylum, which is anything but “miniature”). For instance, I found a small seaside town had a building full of the rotting bastards, with the interior being a replica of the boxing arena from Shadows of Evil…
Gatekeeping, much? Chill out, friendo.
I bought a set of Eneloops years ago. I haven’t had to buy new double-A batteries since.
