Anyone know how an Intel Q6600 compares to that of an i5-750? I know it's a bit old, but I can run Farcry 3 and most modern games at High with my current specs. Might just end up getting it for console anyways, but would rather on PC

Well, it turned out to be a flow sensor and not the thermostat itself, which still I was a bit hesitant about patching but like I said, I'm getting the part and this is not intended to be a "Continued use", rather just a fix til literally tomorrow when I can swap it out. Yeah, I put a hose barb(barbed one side, ~1/2 Male pipe thread on other) and screwed the thread into the busted part enough to ensure it wasn't just holding on by the epoxy. It's drying now, even though by the time it dries my part will be here :P Thanks for the reply though dude!

Trust me, I'm just as skeptical about doing so as most would recommend... But turns out it was a sensor by the return flow and not the thermostat housing. Just lookin for a quick patch to last literally a day til the part comes, but thanks for replying!

So one of the hose barbs snapped off my thermostat housing and spewed antifreeze everywhere. I have the part ordered and know how to install and all that, but I was thinking of doing a quick fix just so I can get back and forth to work by maybe using epoxy or jb-weld and attaching a hose barb to the existing(broken)…
