totally. That's what always makes me laugh when people swear by those battery saving/task killing apps that really don't do shit unless your using a root app along those lines on a rooted phone. It's not as bad, but those apps are almost as bad as "downloading RAM".

If you've ever actually looked at the running processes on your android, you'd see why this "myth" is so prevalent. The APP may be closed and snapshotted, but the Processes are still running in the BG and do need to be closed down manually
