Oh by the way, your truck is too big for where you are driving as well.

I learned about modifying cars by wrenching on my 1974 Monte Carlo(which I bought new, with the help of my father). It had a 350 small block and I added 3.42 gears, an Edelbrock Performer Intake, a recalibrated(by me)Quadrajet carb, a Crane Hi-Torque Cam, Blackjack headers, CBQ Turbo Mufflers, a recurved

I agree- I have a 1999 Sahara that I’ve owned since 2002. I’ve upgraded it with Bilstein HD shocks, Hella E Code headlamps, and MB Quart speakers, and I love it. All I can ever see replacing it with is another Wrangler. Do I need one? You bet; I live at the end of a 1,400 foot gravel farm road...

Allow me to suggest reading for comprehension; had you done so you would have learned I do not own a pickup and have no plans to own one. You would have also discovered that the largest vehicle in my stable is just 175 inches long and weighs in at a massive 3,500 pounds- although it does run the quarter mile in the

Minding your own business isn’t in fashion these days. Condescending elitists now think that it is their duty to lecture the unwashed masses about almost every area of their lives.

Just admit it; you’ve been terribly bitter ever since the Berlin Wall fell- nixing your chances of ever joining the Stasi...

Actually, my daily driver is usually an M235i, although I occasionally take my wife’s i3 REx or R55 Clubman. My E36/5 Club Sport and Wrangler TJ are kept in reserve.

Thanks for all the unintentionally hilarious posts- they’ve earned you the coveted ”Today’s Internet Fascist” award on my home page.

I’m so sorry that I increased your Dramamine intake; please accept my sincerest apologies...

Terrified? You cannot be serious. My stable consists of a 318ti, an M235i, an i3, a R55 Clubman, a Wrangler TJ, and a Speed Triple 900- all relatively small vehicles. I live and drive in a rural area where full size pickups are prevalent, and my wife and I have yet to be “terrified.”

The Alpina B7 is wonderful; I drove a 2007 halfway across the country, spent a day lapping Motorsport Ranch with it, and drove it back. The only casualty was the tread on the RF tire.

Thank you; I consider that a complement.

What a moronic ad; the not so subliminal message is:

Precisely!

I would never own a full-sized pickup(except for maybe a SRT10), but warning bells go off when someone starts opining on what everyone else should drive. I can see similar arguments made against V8 ponycars- two inefficient, too big, too powerful, etc. My overriding vehicular ownership philosophy is: What car or

My late father-in-law was a “Buick Man”- and his last car was a 1999 Riviera, he constantly offered to let me drive it, and fortunately I only had to drive it twice. I was definitely underwhelmed by that car; my father’s Mark VII LSC was an infinitely better drive. At the same time my wife was driving a 318ti Active,

I ordered a 1995 318ti Club Sport in 1995 and it has remained in my stable ever since- despite the downmarket implications of owning one. It served as my HPDE instructor car until 2012. Out of the eleven BMWs I’ve owned it remains one of my favorites- right up there with my 2002, E24 M6, and my current daily driver,

Listening to David Hobbs tell war stories in a motel bar for two hours.

If it just had 70 more hp I’d be on board- but I already have one “momentum car” in the garage(318ti Club Sport)

I used a Ford synthetic transmission oil( XT-M5-QS) in my 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 and a while back I was preparing to change it. I went to the ABC Ford Dealer web site and found that the parts department page is configured so that you can send an email message to the parts desk. I emailed them and asked if they had the
