I would get one and ditch my iPhone 4, if the hardware was right. The iOS platform is getting a little long in the tooth for me. And the annual iOS refresh, where they add a function from a 2002 dumbphone, is getting old.
Heard the author a few weeks ago on NPR, sounds like a very interesting book.
Bastard.
@mnerd: Haven't watched live TV in 10 years (other than sports). Need the DVR. Can't live without the DVR (dual Tuner). Don't even know how to watch TV without pause and 30 second skip.
You should really add a Media Center PC to this list, I could not live without mine. None of these offerings even come close. To me, live TV via antenna (or cable), and a DVR are key components of the system.

I'm in.
Mmmm, streaming to my Hackintosh..
Beatles.
Virtual Keyboard? I'm in if they actually do it. The tiny hardware keyboards are so yesterday... And the Pre's was/is horrible.
@iplaythisgame2: They could program certain aspects of the UI to only be responsive to capacitive touch, with stylus mode only being switched on inside of drawing or writing apps.
Just watched... Oh crap, I maxed out my bandwidth. I'll finish that next month.
Sure, I'll put all my media in their cloud. Then I'll get to max out my new fangled Verizon capped internet access even quicker.
A pet peeve of mine, but in 2000 Lola built Champ Cars, not Indy Cars. From 1996 to 2002 no one could use the Indycar name. This chassis was the 2nd to last of the true evolution of the Indycar as we knew it, and a true classic. The IRL (Indycars now) cars that race today at Indy are not at all connected to the fine…
