Seriously. His reply to Kennedy (no saint himself) on solitary confinement in yesterday’s Davis V Ayala was petty and immature. He’s writing from pure emotion, far outside legal rationality.

The news broke more than three hours ago, I’ve been waiting all day for this headline. Bless you, Drew.

Do you have a link to that page? I’d love to be able to pass it on.

The article seems to indicate Kinatrax does the analysis and uploads the data, but doesn’t say much about on-site capability. With 2 terabytes per home game, I can imagine they’d want to install some computing power in the stadium rather than upload all that data to a center offisite. Besides, there’s value to a team

There’s a nifty video on the Kinatrax website showing some cool graphs, but their sample biomechanics report is butt. Potentially interesting for pitching coaches but there is a truly unconscionable amount of data here that they’re not showing.

Good God that’s terrifying. Is that in Australia? I feel like that happens in Australia.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula, who runs his team with all the leadership stylings of a substitute teacher, has some thoughts on social media.

I love IPAs but usually avoid having more than one - they get my allergies all abuzz - so a non-IPA-drinker’s IPA is a concept I’m familiar with. I usually recommend out the Dogfish Head 90-minute: it’s one of the best beers around and I swear it’s the least IPA IPA I’ve ever had.

Yes, Iguodola fouled LeBron James when he went up for the shot. But also, James traveled before Iggy hacked him, so the non-call on the foul unintentionally brought some sense of justice to the play.

He can switch, but can’t go back during the game. It’s in the rule.

6 fingers, two webs

Seinfeld was dating a girl he wasn’t wild about, liked the roommate. He and George figured if he asked for a threesome, gf would be disgusted but roommate would be intrigued, thereby allowing him to switch.

Is it time for Rafa to ditch Toni? I’ve been discussing this with a coworker for months and months, but while he’s had some serious success with his uncle Nadal just hasn’t been where he’s needed to be. It might be time to shake things up, try something different, and I wonder if the family connection is making that

The best part is that he didn’t even end up with possession. The other guy took advantage of being suplexed to steal the ball - that’s dedication.

Maybe the short series are a feature and not a bug?

Manager Clark Griffith inserted himself as relief pitcher

Nice to meet you, Mr. Surly.

#9 was a staple in my Northeast college experience, but living as I now do in California, it’s a rarity that I ever see it. The years and expanded selection have not been kind to #9, but rarity and nostalgia make up for that. If I see it out there, I’ll usually grab one for old time’s sake. It doesn’t taste the same -

My first reaction to these stories is always “Get over it man. It’s one fan and one picture, quit being a prima donna.” And then I remember this happened and I forgive him:
