I’d be stunned if that gave him the advantage for the win. Truex is a weapon at Martinsville and always a threat. You don’t see a lot of this at faster tracks because of the aero hit. It really only works at short tracks.

He’s driving what’s arguably the most famous car in Nascar, Richard Petty’s 43. Nascar has his back. Now Nascar needs to show it, and ban the Confederate flag. With the social distancing needed now, one of the qualifiers for being allowed on property should be agreeing to the ban on Confederate flags.

Much respect to Bubba. I hope that he is supported by the team he drives for and isn’t marginalized.  NASCAR corporate needs to step way up in recruiting black owned teams as well as marketing outreach for black consumers.
