“Sensitivity” to data is what Nate is selling with his career, though. Drawing accurate conclusions from data instead of working backwards is his brand. For awhile now Silver’s been doing the opposite in the realm of politics, however, in an obvious attempt to promote the false narrative that Bernie isn’t “electable.”
