Agreed. As a consumer, the options are to buy the product or not. No one has the right to demand a given product be modified in accordance with one’s expectations, especially forms of art. But it can’t be surprising that consumers have made these demands and have come to think of producers as things to be ordered

Yep.

The inability of these people to clearly separate fiction from reality is alarming. It reminds me of Wyatt Russell being harassed over the actions of the fictional character he played in Falcon & Winter Soldier. What is their goal? Do they just want stories with no villains and no characters that ever do bad things?

but will you eat your hat?

Either way the music is going to be lit.

You are lucky, I got ads between the picture and the title!

I’m glad it wasn’t a fucking slide show.

It’s good enough that LGBT people like myself can feel comfortable about being open without having to worry about things like slurs and whatnot. Best way to describe the FFXIV community as a whole is open and tolerant, though there are a few bad apples, like with any game.

I don’t think the influx of shitty

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a writer come into their own and find their unique voice as quickly and completely as Ash. Seems like she became a pillar around here almost instantly, and deservedly so.

Ooof, I know that scenario all too well too. Our owners son works with us, and he’s fantastic at his job, but he takes on way too much work sometimes and shuts everyone out. He’ll ignore all calls and emails for weeks, even months at a time, while claiming we need to go through him for certain things.

I learned this the hard way 5-6 years ago while working at my first office job. A coworker was promoted to supervisor, and he’d be the only supervisor at the office late so if there was anything we needed, we had to go through him. Well, he didn’t take his job seriously, and would just disappear for 30, 45, 60 minutes

Counterpoint: Thousands of innocent people were saved from having to endure a flight on AA or Spirit.

For those keeping score.  Let’s not panic.  It takes longer than two weeks for these lawsuits to progress.

Imagine having such a kotaku hate boner that you have to find a way to contort it in such a way that Amazon uses your own dick to fuck you from behind.

There are outlets for whistleblowers to report stuff but that’s not what they’re asking for here. And even then there’s a HUGE level of trust required for someone to contact outlets for whistleblowers.

Something something Jobs growing on Jobbies.

Fast/Furious 11: Electric Hobbsaloo

Funnily enough I’m the opposite on Origins and Odyssey. The former was poorly-paced (action opening, slow tutorials, then you get to Alexandria as the big showpiece and after that... swamps for like five hours. Also the upgrade system was shocking.

Yeah, I heard about as much about Origin. That was one of the non-trivial changes that I referenced above. Glad they decided to put some meat on the bones.
