I was really obsessed with them as a kid too. I think it was their really colorful and over the top designs. I even wanted to be Wendy for Halloween....although ultimately that didn’t happen as my parents weren’t exactly the crafty type. But I used to have tons of toys of them, draw them, make stories about them, etc.

I honestly really just like running through the low level zones, mostly for nostalgia. I quit playing WoW after the WOTLK’s final patch before the next expansion, becuase I realized I would have to do stuff like play guild politics if i wanted to be able to raid more difficult things. It was really frustrating.

The problem is that Vanilla is out of its original context. When it came out, it was the most streamlined thing ever. People (myself) coming over from games like Everquest, where you had to find a group just to grind regular mobs, found the whole thing refreshing. But as the game aged, it got faster and more

I’m sure that’s what he meant. You would have been lucky to find a non-dungeon quest that would net you more than a fifth or quarter of one bar. Even at lvl 1 you might find just a couple quests that would get you close to one bar.

I thought a ‘bar’ was one of the 1/20th segments of the level? (E.g., 4 bars to go!)

Ahem, we also need to note the obvious: that EVO even online was canceled due to its co-founder being a predator and the Smash community was found to be rife with predators as well. So it’s not only developers who need to “get their act together.”

I need CDPR to stop lying. They catfished us, and they got us all REALLY GOOD.

For the worst zone, you have to jump in the Wayback Machine, roll a Horde character, and head to the Barrens.

This. They even state in their “terms” that the whereabouts of your personal data is not guaranteed.

To each his own, but if you ask most of the people who enjoyed BotW, it’s because the world was so enormous and had so many nooks and crannies to explore that they fell in love with it. It’s not about going from point A to B and watching a cutscene before moving to the next pearl on the string. It’s about climbing a

Heck yeah, welcome back, Bix, and congrats on your first Kotaku freelance piece. Timely, thorough, and in-depth — we’ve missed your coverage sorely.

“Guess I’ll be a little behind”

I’m sure it’s a marketing thing. They’re gonna draw more players and make more money than if they just announce a revamped version of the original game.

But that worked for FFXIV and probably other games, so maybe it should be considered more strongly. I’m sure they thought about it, though.

First off, I am very excited for Overwatch 2. There’s a lot of controversy with it and Blizzard, and that does not dull the excitement at all for me. But it does feel less like a sequel and more like Blizz saying, “Wait, wait. Hold on. What we said was ‘Overwatch.’ But what we meant was ‘Overwatch 2.’”

The “2" stands

Good job leaving plenty of extra material around the crotch area. That way you can use “Harden” as much as you want and nobody is the wiser!

I still can’t believe the ego it takes to run in an election with no plan, no ideas, no reason except to sate their own ego.

I messed around with the new looks and accidentally ended up with Ava DuVernay:
