You won’t get dumped on by me. I loved X and had no idea what the hell was going on most of the time. Still don’t. When they started with that fal’Cie/l’Cie shit in XIII my eyes glazed over but I wasn’t around long enough to even try to figure it out.

I don’t know why more of the focus on this being a departure isn’t on the lack of a party. They already tried out the action-forward gameplay with the last one and adapted FF7R to that style as well, so it’s not exactly a surprise that this is the direction they took.

I’ve quietly accepted that this series just isn’t for me anymore. It’s taken some time, but I think I’m finally here.

I see where you’re going with this, but no one would ever have thought to call any main-line Final Fantasy a “button masher.” You use that term to describe a certain style of gameplay. Just pushing X repeatedly to confirm commands isn’t analogous to button mashing.

I want to know what they were smoking if they thought Emolga was going to replace Pikachu.

That’s an interesting idea, I might give that a shot. I don’t play the arcade modes all that much, but I’m missing out on battle pass points with the challenges by not doing that. There’s definitely something exciting about making a great comeback, as long as you’re the one coming back.

I don’t know how I feel about all this. On the one hand I feel like doing it because I just do not have the time to put into it like I had when Breath of the Wild came out. “Rupee & Item Easy Mode” doesn’t sound like a bad time. But then I also feel like why not just play the game very slowly and as it was intended to

I looked up Brighton, Michigan and it’s apparently a pretty small town. Because I was going to say why are you even buying from GameStop in the first place unless you’re a parent who doesn’t know any better.

You’re really into games and you think it can’t possibly be as bad as everyone says it is. Some people actually thrive working for shitty people at shitty companies. There will be almost always be high turnover but there’s going to be those few people who just don’t seem to mind it. It’s bizarre, but I’ve literally

I loved Temple of Anubis, Hanamura, and Volskaya. Paris and Lunar Base not so much. Defending on Temple of Anubis was so much fun. Attacking not so much.

I guess I just wish there was a way to repair or increase durability. I hear you on how fun experimentation is, but my mind immediately goes to “well what’s the best I can do with what I have” and it prevents me from experimenting. I’m also a virtual hoarder as I suspect many people are I’m not going to waste

I’ve noticed the weird imbalance in matches lately too. I was wondering if it was just me. I do mostly QP and it feels like my teams are either embarrassingly bad or the greatest team ever assembled.

I’m definitely here for that Brigitte skin, I wanted it the second I saw it in the Starwatch event. But nah, not gonna spend the money on it.

Not to mention all the sales definitely indicate that we don’t need new hardware for another several years.

I almost wonder if they just decided they couldn’t compete with the F2P onslaught from Fortnite and the rest all those years ago and just squandered what was an incredibly hot IP when it first hit. Then took way too long to get this OW2 model out and focused on all the wrong things. Tough to say, but it’s a shame

I’m really hoping we get some big VR2 reveals here. Now that it’s available at regular retail the money is really burning a hole in my pocket.

This was one of the straws for me when I was doing a second BOTW playthrough. Broke a weapon fighting through some shitty bokoblin camp and opened the skull chest to find the same weapon I broke getting to it. This game also pretty much assures that I’ll be consulting Google before spending 20-30 minutes trying to

I’m trying to fight that same feeling with mixed results. I’m wondering how they managed to make it through the entire development process without figuring out there are at least 1,000 better ways to approach cooking than the one they’ve decided to plod along with through two games. I feel like it’s the perfect game

Based on some screenshots I think we’re eventually going to get steering mechanisms. Not sure if they’re haven’t “unlocked” in the game yet or if I just haven’t found them. So there’s hope yet!

Harley is easily one of the top 5 most common cosplays you see at these conventions. That particular one looks like a younger Erika Girardi.
