This is why I’ll probably play a female character for the first time in this next gen.

It’s crazy, you and I both notice the same things. I mean maybe it’s a universal thing and people just aren’t talking about it because the game is amazing overall, but it’s just funny how many QoL changes they didn’t opt for after HZD.
I was really hoping they wouldn’t move it away from Vegas once Sony bought it, so very relieved to see this. I’m planning on going again myself, but just as a spectator. There’s no energy quite like it.
It’s really not. They don’t want one of their most popular products being bathed in Sony. I don’t agree with it, and I know they’re weird about tournaments anyway, but it’s pretty understandable considering their strange perspective.
I’m sorry, but I lol’d IRL at this and I never do that with comments.
Sailor or pilot, 100%. Not sure how they’re gonna pull that off, but curious to see it.
Hypno/Drowzee, Voltorb/Electrode, and Goldeen/Seaking are among my least favorite designs of any generation. You’re right, there was plenty of garbage in Gen 1. But damned if they didn’t knock it out of the park with my baby Dragonite.
Haha, I’m pretty sure we’re rocking the same equipment because I have both of those bows myself.
I don’t agree with you because a new mainline Pokemon game is one of my favorite things to see, but I will say I was surprised to see this announcement. I think they’ve got at least another year before people start getting antsy.
I don’t remember what it was, but there was something about the last CTR that just didn’t work for me. Something about the feel of the driving itself. I thought it was cool, but just didn’t grab me as much as Sonic or MK.
OH MY GOD the mount pathing. It’s fucking horrible. I’m riding a bristleback right now, which is cool as hell, but damned if he doesn’t randomly turn sideways on a path and then have to slowly tiptoe his way out of it. Also don’t try to go up a hill unless you’ve already gathered a head of steam. I’ve had some small…
Personally I’ve found the Sonic kart games to be really solid and fun, and a great alternative to Mario Kart if a Switch isn’t available. Very tight and well made. Definitely give it a shot.
It says the Cleaving Sharpshot Bow is a reward for the Broken Sky quest which I believe is the one you have around the time you encounter your second tallneck. I’m not sure if it’s a huge long questline or just a piece of one, but at least that bow should be available to you sooner rather than later.
You can say that again. Wouldn’t it be a nicer system if there was just one hunter bow, one sharpshot bow, etc, etc. that you can just continuously upgrade? Maybe switch between elemental arrows on the fly? Kind of like the way Tomb Raider does it.
Ahhh, yeah that’s kinda like removing one of the key components of combat. Touch to loot would be nice, but I’m not holding my breath. I wouldn’t mind a skill buried somewhere in one of the trees which was like a “mass loot” or something. Sometimes I get in this loop of going to collect some blue berries and then walk…
I wonder is there is an easy loot option and I just haven’t poked around enough in the settings to locate it.
Capcom hasn’t made any magic with their fighting games since Street Fighter 5 was released, and maybe even a little bit before that. I’m very hopeful that Street Fighter 6 is good, but sadly nothing will ever top the fighting game renaissance that hit in 2009 due in very large part to Street Fighter 4.
I’m not sure if or to what extent this happened, but I would bet some people thought it was either an offshoot or maybe even an add-on to the Avengers game that left everyone underwhelmed. It’s also possible that people saw the cast of the game and immediately thought it was a movie tie-in and shitty cash grab.
To each his own on leaving waypoints and climbing markers off because I can understand why some people just want to get totally lost exploring the world, but is there anyone who actually enjoys walking around the game world pressing triangle 3,000 times an hour to pick up crafting items? I can’t imagine it’s rewarding…
Yeah but some of those cinematic carnival rides really do suck. Take that aggressively mediocre Tomb Raider movie. The reviews for this one are more or less saying the same thing.
