I dunno, it’s hard for me to imagine that they’re not gonna let people transfer these between games.

New Eeveelution anyone? ...anyone...? No? Ok. :(
Which is why it’s so funny (not really) when anyone suggests an acquiring company just go in and fire most of the staff. We’re talking about people’s jobs and their livelihood. It would be one thing if you could cherry pick only the “bad” people but you obviously can’t. And like you said, the people who get hurt most…
I died many, many times in that first story mission where you have to take on a horde. It was pretty tough, even setting up traps and planning it out beforehand. Gets much easier later in the game when you have the option to take them on because you’re flush with every type of weapon and just generally better at the…
We tried it first on easy and found it way too easy. Virtually no threat of being killed at all. Then we amped it to a harder difficulty and it was way too difficult for two people. So I think there’s maybe something my friend was missing on the difficulty side when he was setting up the game. Either that or they…
I did co-op, but just with one other person. So that could certainly be the issue. It’s not my favorite thing to do, but maybe I’ll jump into a map with some randos online and see how it goes.
What usually makes my head prone to explode is all the fucking lame screen names mixed in with real names. It gets even worse as you get deeper into the article and the writer starts using only screen names and you’re sitting there like, “Wait, who is Concrete Warmonger again? Why is he mad at Pixie Fuckwit?”
I don’t really get the DRG hype. You really have to buy into that whole mining mechanic which, yeah, no fucking thanks for me, but cool if it gets everybody else excited.
I don’t remember that bit of lore from DP because the story in Pokemon games literally flies right through my brain without spending any time there at all, but just in general I would say the developers probably feel completely unrestricted in how they approach the story. That bit about eating Pokemon sounds…
...but my best guess is that Days Gone just wasn’t fun.
I get ferocious motion sickness from certain types of VR games. I’m excited about this because I want to love VR, but no doubt I’ll buy this thing and end up playing games like Beat Saber and nothing else.
They’re contractually obligated to be pretentious and stack multiple indies on the list. And this is coming from someone who wasn’t all that enamored of Metroid Dread.
Actors rumored to play Drake during the Uncharted movie’s extended production period have included fan-favorite Nathan Filion, Chris “Somehow Mario” Pratt, and Mark Wahlberg, who now plays Drake’s older male friend Sully.
I understand being interested in the games you’re interested in and passing on the others, but why not just claim every PS Plus game just in case you decide you want to play it sometime later? You don’t even have to download it. Just click the button and if something happens later to make you want to play it, the game…
I’m terribly sorry about your father, first of all. Sending you both well wishes and hope he recovers soon!
This is so good. After I bounced off Valhalla and Watch Dogs last year I realized maybe the open world shit isn’t for me anymore. I’m not sure I can skip Horizon though. I loved the first one, up to a point, so I want to see what they bring for the sequel. The issue I had with that one wasn’t the open world-ness but…
I was looking at the top games articles from the writers here and got to thinking what my top 10 games from 2021 would be. Once I logged in to PSN I realized I beat precisely one game this year: Ratchet & Clank. I played several more games, but never beat them and really didn’t love any of them. I think 2021 was maybe…
I’m not really a lazy person I don’t think, but damned if I don’t audibly groan any time I have to get my fat ass up out of the chair and switch a disc out. Digital all the way.
I remember. Still haven’t quite figured out when (or why) the narrative shifted.
