As someone who rarely actually goes into a comic book shop what is marvel to do? If comic books are being aimed at specific groups and they don’t buy them whose fault is that? I read my comics online and I read male/female lead characters but I know lots of neckbeards that don’t

As someone who pays for the subscription for marvel unlimited, the really old issues of comics are filled with stereotypes that wouldn’t fly today. So I think it’s fine to move gender/race of characters. If Marvel followed the comics exactly the shit would really hit the fan.
