Exhausted from being twice as good as the men for half the pay?
I love Diane Keaton. She didn’t try to be sexy or fierce in a sexy gown. She was herself. She just wore she likes to wear and smiled that warm smile of hers.
Mark Ruffalo is the OG woke bae. Michael Keaton snuck into the woke bae life at the SAG awards the other night though.
Woke Bae Emeritus.
I don’t have time to make a thorough case but what about Mark Ruffalo. Or is he just eternal Woke Bae, not necessarily just January?
I expect we’ll hear an apology from him tomorrow. It’ll be Tuesdays with sorry.
I have a savings account with York Banks Asia. They offer great interest rates.
ASOS has the BEST maternity stuff, particularly their sales.
A year ago I worked full time, made it to hot yoga, wrote fiction on the side, and socialized regularly. Now at the end of most days, I don sweatpants, shout “Thank the fucking lord I survived!” and do little else of consequence—except incubate a future person and feel overwhelmed by love, fear, and anticipation.
ASOS. Isabella Oliver (wait for sales and promos). Pea in the Pod leggings are worth the extra expense. Occasionally, Liz Lange for Target. Basically, shop online.
Best title reappropriation EVER. All the fist bumps.
Talk to Nike. I work in the NFL and the selection of actual Nike-branded team gear for women that isn’t pink, sparkly, adorned with stupid phrases (there was one that says, “TALENT SCOUT” that I thought would really make our coaches respect me more [/sarcasm]), etc, is not all that impressive. They have not done a…
I first heard Tig’s routine about her diagnosis when someone sent it to me and all I could think bitterly was “Oh, great, just what I need.” I was flat on my back, 5 months into chemo at 33 for breast cancer. I was so goddamn sick of cancer and I wanted nothing to do with still more cancer.
In case you haven’t already read it, there’s a great book called “Expecting Better”. GPaMazur and I are in the “testing phase”, so to speak, so I picked it up in an attempt to see what is ahead of us. I don’t like people telling me what to do without logical reasons to back it up, and this book does a great job at…
Maybe, just maybe, I’m a very hormonal 38 week pregnant woman who is a bit touchy about things at this moment, but SHUT THE FUCK UP, YOU STUPID STUDY. Like pregnant women need another fucking thing not to have. I haven’t had alcohol, I keep sugar and caffeine to a minimum, I have well done steak, I microwave my damn…
As a pregnant woman, can I just say that I am so goddamn sick of seeing a new study every week telling me I’m doing something wrong? This is my first pregnancy and it is scary enough without some dude in a lab discovering that I may already be a terrible mother because I ate a fucking potato for dinner.
Isn’t ANYTHING compared to beans and whole grains going to be more likely to cause gestational diabetes?? Color me unsurprised.
