She didn’t lose time with her father, lest we forget that she, along with her brothers, went into his villa at the end of last season to stop the Mattson deal. She would have been on the outs like Kendall was, so whether Tom alerted Logan or not, she was losing those six months anyway.

The writing in this show (and this episode in particular) is fantastic. Whether or not you think people actually talk that way, it makes for engrossing theater, much like the soliloquies of “West Wing” or the crisp walk-and-talks of the original Law and Order” . (SVU always looked like bad high school theater to me ..

You’re not a bright person, are you?

Shiv can’t run the company, she has no head for business as the show has pointed out a bunch. What she can do is run powerful men.  She can do the thing where she lets the men think they've won while she is in the drivers seat.

Creative freedoms aside, it’s worth noting that much of Sheeran’s inspiration comes from pioneering Black creatives[...] young white artists seemingly cribbing from creative strides made by Black predecessors.

Shiv can emotionally abuse Tom relentlessly for years but a simple earlobe flick (also provoked by Shiv) is where you draw the line? You lot are so unserious.

this is a flex

And they forgot to the hyphenate the compound modifiers. Disgusting.

“Hader, being the tight lipped, big dicked man that he is...”

I like Craig and while I didn’t watch much of his show (I don’t watch late night talk shows in general) the little I saw it it was better than the little I saw of Cordons. But its weird to use this as proof one is better than the other, when this is still just having celebrities showing up to do silly things, when

Eh, Shiv isn’t CEO material, the brothers were right. Phenomenal performance by Snook, but she is on a downward spiral

When is she ever not “fighting” with someone?

LOL now you are being boring. I guess you proved your point.

That’s lame. Pick fun books. If there was like a Jack Vance book club or a Michael Moorecock one, that’d be dope.

This condescending shit is EXACTLY why you don’t see men venturing into this space. LeBron James, who literally built a school for disadvantaged kids complete with after school programs, job placement for the parents, and free college tuition upon graduation, is criticized because we believe that he is not reading

I love reading, and I like recommending books. Do I want to sit in a room full of people talking about it, not really.

Know what else hurts innocent people? Giving them false medical tests.

skill issue. it’s 2023 stay off the internet till you’ve watched the thing.

it’s funny that websites like this (and say, pitchfork for example) used to exist as an alternative to this kind of write-up, because there were mainstream pop culture news sources that tracked this stuff, and you’d come here for the left-of-center, off-kilter, interesting stuff.

I really hope this episode didn’t ruin my ability to enjoy Rupert Murdoch’s death when it comes.
