the meet the parents movies are punching down movies and some people loved them, I think embarrassment humor is punching down humor... it makes me deeply uncomfortable to watch.
also there’s level punching, you could punch at people in the exact same level as you, and be funny.
You don’t have to punch up, you can punch at your same level, but punching down is a fool’s game. It likely won’t be funny, like highly likely.
Jesus Christ, Deadspin has been circling the drain of their own doing for years. The one good sports journalism in recent years was the Larry Nassar coverage.
All games are cheaper at wal mart right now... and not all PS4 games have price drops....also there’s a world of good cheap games on it
“have this weird and unhealthy obsession with making sure people don’t do fandom “incorrectly””
wait, what? Am I the one who claimed you could not us it properly without the air? Which is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen posted in a fitness related story?
“You’re right. And I think I didn’t word my comment right. That distribution should be done at state level, so there are no disparities in funding based on how poor or rich a city or district is, and all schools in the same state receive equal funding.”
Ok pal, thanks for explaining how I need air and an almost perfect sphere to pick a weighted object up off the ground to slam it back on the ground for cardio and/or CNS purposes!
you can absolutely pick it up and slam it on the ground like that. It takes like two seconds of rolling it to be back to shape. They aren’t supposed to bounce, and being perfectly spherical doesn’t stop its function in any way
I own an identical slam ball, brand, weight, everything, this one is definitely not meant to have air in it.
most likely image, also a chance they have mixed in intraworkout nutrition ala BCAA’s or other supplements in the water
does it have a plate (for lack of a better term) fused on the bottom?
Arnold made them famous. Even most CF owners grew up idolizing Arnold in some way.
don’t fill it with air... it needs the extra room in it to shift the filling when slammed...it being full could result in a bounce or pop.
even if you aren’t a powerlifter, what is your goal? What type of belt? I own a 13mm single prong Pl belt that used to be stiff as a board. But I used to compete and now its perfectly broken in how I want it so I see no need to change.
studies show there is more abdominal muscle activation while wearing a belt....so this is not exactly a settled issue
of some sort...but not necessarily olympic
Hi, former competitive strongman here. You’re half right, or a quarter right...or some percentage IDK...
