Saw a Merc SUV with the lit logo the other night and pointed it out to my wife with a snarky, “look who’s compensating” remark.

Except they should be called the Houston Humidity

Imagine how much more power they would have produced if they also painted it red!

I think the biggest takeaway here is that there is a Browns fan who can cite Verdun and Sisyphus.  Who knew?

Which was also the knock on the original, when it was new, no?

Not the only one, but damn close.

I like that you explained why!

Prepare for it to be filthy, unless it’s a fully-covered carrier.  I’ve shipped a few cars from coast to coast, and the first thing I have always done upon receiving one is get it cleaned.  You be surprised at how dirty it will be.

Holy crap that’s cheap. Talk about depreciation!

I have a Guila Quad, and have only had one minor issue which had it in the shop for 2 days. That’s over 2.5 yrs of ownership.

Came here to post the exact same points!  Thanks.

Oh. Oh my goodness.

Congrats!  That looks like a perfect winter car for you!  Enjoy it.

I have an ‘11 Vantage roadster, so reasonably modern. The powertrain has been perfect. There have been a few minor fit and finish issues (repeated window adjustments etc.) but nothing major. Even maintenance is (relatively) cheap.

Could be.  Thanks!

Thank you for commenting!  I love that you’re checking out the recommendations.  If you don’t mind, would you please let us know what you actually decide to get?  I always wonder what the WCSIB folks end up with...

Thanks for the pics. I love walking through those lots at the Revival. The race-team paddocks are insane too!

Welcome back Rob!  Sounds like it was a great break.

Wow the Camaro gang are up early this morning.  Guess all the Mustang voters got held up leaving Cars and Coffee?

Headline of the year! That was phenomenal.
