Prepare for it to be filthy, unless it’s a fully-covered carrier. I’ve shipped a few cars from coast to coast, and the first thing I have always done upon receiving one is get it cleaned. You be surprised at how dirty it will be.

I have a Guila Quad, and have only had one minor issue which had it in the shop for 2 days. That’s over 2.5 yrs of ownership.

I have an ‘11 Vantage roadster, so reasonably modern. The powertrain has been perfect. There have been a few minor fit and finish issues (repeated window adjustments etc.) but nothing major. Even maintenance is (relatively) cheap.
