The tech center is in Warren, MI, where all the engineering operations are located. I guess this will have the highest quality ever, having all engineering there watching the production, issues located quickly and fixed for the next round of vehicles etc nice strategy from GM

On the opposite side of the spectrum, I love my Honda Insight Gen 1, peak honda, made in japan, aluminum chassis, 60+mpg, so damn reliable. People are paying big money for them, specially with these gas prices.

Agree, I own one and they are hard as a rock, with little pad. Thankfully is my commuter car so I only sit there 30 min each way

I have a Chevy Bolt. The lights are on Auto by default unless you manually deactivate them but they go back to Default the next time you drive (and I think all GM cars work this way). Maybe they wanted to save some money and they removed the switch lol

I hope they fix their LTE/GPS connection issues that keeps coming back across all Volvo lineup and Polestar too, with no internet the car become useless (No maps, no music), I have to setup my phone as hotspot in order to enjoy the car functions every time this happens

Can confirm. My winter beater 07 GMC Envoy a lot of stuff may go wrong (Electrical things specially) but the engine and transmission run so smooth and strong with no issue, a tank in the snow

Best car I ever had. Test drove a Model 3 and the P2 by far feels more solid and high quality everywhere you look.

Michigan turn. There is usually one lane to make the U-Turn, is one wide lane so trucks can make it but people loves to create two lanes and sometimes you want to turn to complete your turn to the far right to enter a gas station or just turn right at the next light. Now because you have someone on your right, you

Polestar 2 this morning

6 lol one winter beater (GMC Envoy) that I barely drive, a manual Honda Insight Gen 1 (my “fun” car) and a Ford Escape to move kids around

10.8KW is the system output capacity. The solar company is including a dual charger to support 2 cars. I think its the best safe investment I can do right now thanks to Russia and everything getting more expensive (energy related).

Installing solar in my new house to support 3 EV vehicles, the gas ones are just parked getting dust thanks to the gas prices. All my friends that made fun of me because of my EV decisions now they are asking me how much I pay for those (Chevy Volt, Bolt, Polestar 2), how I charge them, how much to charge them, etc

That’s the reason I went with a Polestar 2. Everything was online, just stopped at the Space (Volvo dealership actually) to sign and pay, no drama, no markups. It was so far the easiest car purchase I ever made. Ford was adding markups to Mach E plus the waiting time, had a bad experience with Kia once, and Chevrolet

2022 is not the year definitively... thank you so much for everything you did to this community, I was able to buy a project car after you guys, you inspire a lot of people

Florida man + BMW = Recipe for disaster

Sonic, I like their concept (Drive-in and Drive Thru). If you want to get in and out fast, McDonalds hands down the quickest.

I spent 3K in the summer for my winter beater (Brakes all around, tires, steering wheel pump plus all hoses replaced, two wheels bearing, one speed sensor, and other things that I already forgot). I paid 1500 for it and its worth around 5K in this market. 07 GMC Envoy, still has a couple of things that I need to fix

I love /antiwork on Reddit, it gave me the courage to leave my previous employer (A big OEM)

How this compare with the Polestar 2?
