I have very, very pale skin but also olive undertones, so both descriptions would be accurate for me. People get really confused when you throw in a descriptor like "olive" for skintone, it seems…

One of my favorite TV couples ever! They were able to make being totally into your partner seem both funny, where so many sitcom couples seem to have to snipe at each other to generate punchlines. Miss all those guys! ;___;

Not really like a scone—the texture is more flaky than crumbly, much less dry, and it's savory. Very, very buttery and slightly salty, and often served with greasy meats (fried chicken, sausage, bacon). Delicious!

I won a mini-fridge at my high school's after prom thing (and not a little cube—it had a separate freezer! Four years of dorm popsicles!). It remains, to this day, the only time I ever won anything in a drawing, so I was pretty pleased.

I'm no fan of cicadas, especially after having lived through one of their emergences in DC ca. 2003, but this latest Radiolab short about their songs was really great. There was a bit at the end about a cicada that got confused and came out in the wrong year that actually had me feeling sorry for the poor little guy.

I like "hangry" as the word to describe the irritable rage that sets in when your blood sugar gets too low. Hangry!
