It makes sense that they're the same, though. "Time is a flat circle. Me in the past is the same as me in the future. Praise Jesus."

There aren't really many OMG SHOCKING TWISTS in ADwD, though.

I AM ROG DONG THE DESTROYER. I HAVE COME FOR YOUR WEAPONS AND YOUR WOMEN.

Why wait, though? The show might spoil you for the movie, I guess. But it's equally valid to say the movie spoils the show. Unless you watch both at the exact same time, you're going to go into one of them knowing the twist.

I thought it was kind of a weird controversy anyway. I mean, she's an actress — she's paid to say other people's words, not to believe them. And while things like Holocaust denial are legitimately harmful, geocentrism is just silly/stupid (yes, yes, I know anti-science, anti-knowledge in general is harmful, but

Agreed. It was sort of comical at first, and now it's just sad.

"He's entirely one dimensional at this point and exists solely to make jokes about hating the government"

Colbert would be replacing Letterman? How would that even work? His whole show is predicated on his character, and I sincerely doubt he could do that schtick on a mainstream network show.

Not having read them, is this different than his previous scripts? QT can be a good storyteller, but he doesn't strike me as a stickler for grammar.

The writer who writes that feature is even more jaded and cynical than the rest of the staff.

Why would we? It's a classic show. Though admittedly, the later stuff never lived up to Classic Galton.

I feel like live, improvised comedy is something most of us experience all the time, on a daily basis. It's the most common form of comedy. It's what we use to make our friends laugh uproariously while gathered together.

"Tracy was the love of his life"

It seems more like Todd's saying that the finale didn't ruin the series, but it ruined Season 9. As in, Season 9 might have had a B grade, but the finale was a solid F—, enough to bring the average way down. And I agree.

It's not really the Lost problem, though. It's the problem of having an ending and being completely unwilling to waver from it even when it makes no goddamn sense anymore. People like to say "making it up as you go along" as an insult, but really it's not. It's what *should* happen in this medium. I suspect the

You're wrong, "I could care less" is incorrect.

"It's supposed to be dumb fun, a guilty pleasure, a silly fantasy escape."

Haven't gone through all the comments, but I'm pretty bummed none of the panelists mentioned Farscape, which, IMO, has the best opening sequence of any show ever. I prefer their first opener for how manic and fearful Crichton sounds, though the later season opener was pretty great too.

The fuck are you talking about? The polar bear mystery was solved super early on. Like Season 2 or 3, if I recall correctly (which I probably don't).

I feel like you're going to be in some trouble if you think the show is endorsing the things Abbi and Ilana do/want to do.
