I don't know if I'd have a problem in general, but if I went to see an apartment and there was blood still splattered on the wall, it would probably make me intensely uncomfortable.

Well, I never said RE4 was bad (other than the story). I just said it wasn't RE. Although at this point, there are just as many mindless action Resident Evils (4-6) as Survival Horror (1-3), so I won't have a leg to stand on for much longer.

I'm watching it for the first time, after hearing about how much sexist bullshit is piled on Skylar's character. And while I think some unchecked misogyny is the cause of 95% of the rage from the fanbase, I will say there are some moments where she's written/acted very over-the-top shrewish. I don't think the show is

YET RECK'NING BY MY NATAL DAY

It seems like it's common wisdom that the original trilogy isn't as good as we once though, but I agree entirely with you. A New Hope is a brilliant film. I'm especially awed by the fact that we don't even get to meet Luke until like 20 minutes into it, which I know is a decision that gets a lot of attention, (and not

The Lucas storyline was terrible. Just fucking terrible. I get that it was being set up as this surprising reversal of expectations, but it didn't work at all, primarily because no on ever believed that Lucas was competent. It would have been a reversal of expectations to see him actually succeed. Instead, we get five

A pair of vibrating knickers that was being controlled (against her consent) by a creepy douchebag, and at one point, a young boy.

The problem is that she specifically said "What mother wouldn't be at her DAUGHTER'S wedding?" So, it might be Ted's mom, but at that point you'd have to bring in Ted's sister, and the audience cares very little about either of those characters.

The final shot of Lost was pretty abstract though, and didn't really box them into anything specific. Visiting The Mother's grave is a bit more limiting.

"how do writers make money?"

My pick for Jonah Hill would have been the scene where he's talking about marrying his cousin. Might be too long to get a decent soundbite from it, but that's my favorite scene of his.

I need mooooore. God damn, start a Kickstarter for this shit. I'll give whatever you ask.

Charles Nelson Reilly's campiness was a huge part of the show. It would be a pretty big omission *not* to mention it.

Haha, it does sort of look like that, but it's just an unfortunate cropping artifact.

I still really like "Life's a Happy Song," mainly for "Life's a fillet of fish … er … yes it is!"

If I had a dime for every time someone told me that…

I hear you. All those scenes about pregnancies and periods. I mean, women. Women. Right?

'Shitty' is subjective, but you're certainly a very flawed writer given that 95% of the time, writing a woman isn't appreciably different from writing a man.

I understand that interpretation, but I still think this show is too schmaltzy and conservative to allow that someone might be happy without being happily heterosexually married with one or two kids. Case in point, Barney and Robin should obviously have an open marriage, but NOPE

They definitely have a kid at that point, their responses don't make any sense otherwise. But they were likely on vacation, and someone else was babysitting.
