Fake news!

Wear is caused by heat and friction. I think the idea is short, fast stabs prevents a buildup of heat and thus reduces wear on the rotors or glazing on the pads. Would need #science to test this though.

Flyover country... but I do work in tech/telecom, with a degree, and make an above-average wage for the area, but certainly not extravagantly above. A bit above your rural figure, but less than a third of your ~200K urban figure.

It’s like catching up with a friend from college who now has 3 kids, no sleep and drinks Michelob Ultra once a month to “loosen up”. Subaru, what happened friend?

I daily drive my BRZ year-round here in Chicago, and it’s an absolutely blast in the snow! And yes, I go ice racing up in Wisconsin too! (I’m on plain ol’ studless winter tires, which have come a LONG way and will surprise you with how much grip they can offer, even on ice.)

They were real, but not how they exist in Jurassic Park. In the novel, there’s a scene where one of the engineers explains that the dinosaurs are based on dinosaur’s in popular culture (giant lizards) instead of what dinosaurs would have really looked like.

That didn’t make it into any of the original films, but I

The seven stages of They Are Billions grief:

The car flip is in space. Bam. Subverted Expectations.

The ancient Shell station near me just converted to Mobile and added gas station TVs. But the pumps got faster. I think your place might have spent the money on TVs that they should have spent on replacement filters.

I think kids are more likely to die doing those kid things because the sample size of children racing dragsters is probably too small to actually be able to discern if its anymore dangerous.

Dodge Demon people: “But can it pull the front wheels off the ground?!”
