The pregnancy test that I bought from my local chemist that turned out positive!

I actually laughed out loud. GET OFF MY LAWN.

I bought a house in 2010 and *immediately* became concerned about random children climbing the tree in the back. I can admit now that yelling at the neighbor kids to stay off my lawn is an incredibly provoking behavior and that everything that befell me is my own fault.

I have life insurance now! Who has life insurance but ~ real adults ~ I ask you?

Technically it’s not a purchase, but when I finally could afford to rent my own place, without roommates or housemates.

Hmmm... taking myself to the doctor without having my mom come with me... that was yesterday morning.

I started my investments. That made me feel like a responsible adult because I was able to save up enough money to start it.

It’s probably horrible that my first thought upon paying that bill was ‘no wonder my parents bitched about teeth brushing all these years’ XD

When I gave earnest advice about credit scores to someone younger than me. “Listen here Sonny, you’re gonna wanna keep your balance low, and use every credit card sparingly but regularly... I remember back before the war...”

Twitter really is our primary form of media communication now huh?

I love it when Republicans prove themselves to be giant fucking hypocrites about their supposed “values”.

Didn’t Orange County, CA, which could also be known as Reaganland, also file for bankruptcy?

I told my sister if you really are going to secede, try to give me some warning because I want to move there first. Fuck this idiot country.

I see it differently. They see the changing demographics and attitudes, so they know their majorities are not long for this world. Sure, they can play fear of brown people and gerrymandering for another 10 years or so. But their power is definitely waning. So, they want to pass every crazy thing they can until that

They have Eric Holder on their side!

I hope these cities keep stepping up and showing that, no, not everyone in this state wants things this way (looking at my home state, Texas).

California is gearing up for a big fight, assuming we don’t secede.

I totally agree, although I’m somewhat hopeful that this absurd Republican overreach, combined with the idiotic antics of Donald, will lead to a Democratic wave in 2018. On the other hand, they can do a lot of damage before 2018, and even then there’s no guarantee that people will vote Democrat.

I love when their justification is “well only liberal cities have filed for bankruptcy!” And then when you point out that nearly a quarter of chapter 9 filings come from Nebraska alone, those people short circuit.

So much for the party of state’s rights and small government! I hate these people so much. I’m so scared of the next four years. I have no idea how/if we’re going to make it.
