I had a weird realization watching the episode tonight: the cinematography on Project Greenlight (the show) somehow looks far far better than that of The Leisure Class (the movie). How is that the case ? Is that just irony ?

I just realized: when Boone talked to the Red Devil, he said "What took you so long ?" & when Gigi talked to the Red Devil, she too, said "What took you so long ?" Are Gigi & Boone the Red Devils ? If so…why ??
Anyone else think Chanel No. 5 is the kid in the tub ? She said she's a "legacy," & the killer didn't kill her even though she was just sitting there in a (granted, giant) closet.
Whoa, jesus, I had NO clue that was that same guy as the glasses-earpiece-bro from SICARIO. Wow. My respect for him just doubled.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but http://www.kafka-online.inf…
Whether he's making it up or not is, I think, meant to be ambiguous. It's acknowledged that he's a good actor, that he has very very mixed feelings about Wayne, & we got to see Wayne do two things at the end of last season: make Nora feel "okay," & die in Kevin's arms after admitting he might be a "fraud." I think…
Remember what happened when Kevin was arrested with Patti's body in his trunk: the Fed who sat across from him essentially admitted / explained to Kevin that nobody in the government cares about a dead Guilt Remnant member. The government considers them terrorists & is invested in their destruction. A hit-&-run in a…
No, I meant that Rey might be his sister. She seems like she's one of the good'ns. Although who knows. I just got the vibe from the trailer that Poe was going to end up on the dark side.
Who else thinks Poe Dameron is going to end up being the bad guy in the following movies? Brainwashed by Kylo Ren, ends on the dark side, becomes the villain. (Maybe related to Rey ?)
I think, & I know it's how the show has been since the beginning, but I think all of these issues would also be simpler, as an audience member, to parse if the show were an hour long rather than a half-hour.
Just stumbled across this. Does this movie exist ??
Perhaps I made a mistake by watching this the same night as SICARIO, which is a much much better movie on every single front, but I still liked it a great deal more than a C+. If SICARIO is an A, then I'd say BEASTS is probably a B-, which I admit, now as I write it, sounds a bit like nitpicking — C+ & B- are…
It's published by the Psychological Healing Center, which is, of course, her company. So, yes, self-published. Somebody needs to take the plunge & read it for us ! it's free if you have a kindle subscription. I don't have one, but if I did, I'd read it. Anybody ??
Sooo, of course I dug deeper into "Dr. Judy," as she calls herself, & the description of her novel, a psychological thriller called 'Lucid Darkness,' is simply amazing:
Whoa. Thank you for this. Somehow this slipped through the cracks for me. Amazing amazing amazing —
This is one of the best things I've ever read on the AVClub, maybe second only to Sean O'Neal's ENTOURAGE THE MOVIE script. Awesome stuff. Shout out to Bonney, Nathan, & of course, John.
I am scared to think of what he might look like underneath that all-black ensemble. Oof…
What ? You're pissed I vaguely alluded to a third-act scene in the Counselor, a movie that few saw & even fewer cared about ? You call me a "dipshit" ?? Are you for real ?
Weird reference, I know, but they did that in The Counselor, too, where Mikey Fassbender is all "I promise to love you til you die" to Penelope Cruz, &, well, spoiler-alert & stuff.
