Dude, check the internet again. Ringo is worth THREE HUNDRED million dollars. Still doesn't need to sell "memorabilia."
A "portion" of the proceeds going to charity ? Aren't these guys worth more than half a billion dollars ?? Are they seriously having a garage sale ?
Okay, but this, too, is bullshit. A good recent example is John Oliver, whose show I did not like for the first couple episodes, but who really found his stride shortly thereafter & is now flat-out killing-it. It DOES take time. & lest you forget, this is a FIVE-DAY-a-WEEK show ! They're not going to cram every…
Okay, sooo: is Whiterose using Phillip Price ? Are they using one another for a mutually-beneficial situation ? Is Phillip Price using Tyrell Wellick ? Does Tyrell know ? Does it matter ? Ultimately, every question I have boils down to: is anybody at the TIP-TOP of the hierarchy of the show's universe ? OR: is…
After the party at Gideon's house, Gideon phoned the server farm one more time to double-check. He suspected Elliot, if I remember correctly, but said nothing to Elliot that would indicate as such, because he liked him too. Complex relationships on this show.
Exactly. It was meant to show the AUDIENCE, too, that Elliot CAN & DOES fail, & that he isn't ALWAYS one step ahead. That he, too, makes mistakes (sending a photo only HE could have taken as evidence), & that his judgment can get clouded.
I don't think so. The photos clearly show a child in those photos, first a boy, & then a second child, a girl (Darlene), & then a mother, who looks like Elliot's mother as we've seen her previously.
That's why the twist works so well: we already saw her as an archetype, only to find that every behavior & tic & manner that we used to justify that bracketing turned out to actually lead in a totally-different direction.
See, that's the thing: Elliot didn't get PUSHED, he merely jumped off.
Did you know that this was loosely inspired by Jean Seberg, who actually did find a dog on the street in Los Angeles which turned out to have been trained to attack black people ??
Iron Man 2 is one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen in a movie theatre, & it also, now that I think about it, falls prey to many of the same issues stated in this review: single-note characters, an incomprehensible late-third-act villain, characters disappearing for most of the running time, & simply idiotic…
Did anyone else think Wellick was going to throw her off the roof before they laid down ? & then again after he killed her ? I don't know, but I felt CERTAIN he'd paint it as a suicide.
I disagree. I thought it was easily the weakest, especially in light of last week. A B- feels deserved, but nearly every show needs a B- episode, in my opinion: it's kind of a necessary lull-between, as it were.
Note: it wasn't actually a copy of the Cure CD: Elliot labels his file-dump backups with album titles since the first episode.
