I believe it’s Oscar Mayer.
I believe it’s Oscar Mayer.
I’m going to start using that as a euphemism.
Wheels needed to be white, damn it. Not black.
Not just you, my favorite of the ‘80s mid-engine Ferraris too. That bit of extra space makes them a LOT more useful and much more comfortable if you are taller.
They aren’t my cup of tea,but in that same era, I love the 400!
If you want more power that badly, just get a tune and throw a bigger turbo on there. The mini trucks this is recalling were usually NA 4-cylinders and never had a focus on outright speed. That is not the point of this kind of car. If you want a pickup with big power, go buy that F150 with the factory supercharger.
No, shut up, this is how we got where we are with giant overpowered trucks ruining everything. This can already tow 4,000 pounds and still gets decent mileage. If you want a big truck, buy a big truck. Don’t ruin the small truck.
The TH400 trans was probably the only thing reliable on that car.
Several of these, the Ferrari in particular, are simple NOT sportscars at all. They are Grand Touring cars, and that is an entirely different kettle of fish which should be judged by very different standards. A Ferrari 400 automatic is a perfectly lovely and comfortable way to blast from Paris to Nice down the motorway…
Some people just want a Toyota inline-6 under the hood. There are plenty of practical reasons why Toyota decided not to develop and build a new inline-6, but some people don’t want to hear that.
Yall are looking at this all wrong. This is a donor car to use the suspension, engine, and drive train to make either a kit car or full on custom.
I bought the cheapest Viper in America and here’s what happened
American big sedans. They deserve another chance and with those gigantic platforms and wheelbases there’s a lot a space for battery packs.
We need a new Beetle EV. If they can build a new retro Microbus then they can bring back the Beetle as an entry level EV to compete with the Fiat 500e and Mini EV. Build a new Karmann Ghia as well. All they need to do is use a truncated Id platform. Honor the VW heritage that kept them profitable for decades.
Honestly, I wish small vans like the Promaster City & Transit were electric were in the US market. For most of the businesses that bought them, would a gas drivetrain really be an advantage in all city driving? I mean, the PMC came with a 9 speed for pete’s sake, and even then, it still got not-great fuel economy.
The Mazda RX-8. Specifically my RX-8. I’d love to have a setup similar to that one those Mississippi students did with that BRZ where it had a snowmobile engine up front as a range extender, but I’d want that to be a rotary.
Electric motors give better performance, with the main drawback being cold weather performance, charging time and charger availability on longer trips... So let’s make more electric 2-seat sports cars (especially convertibles). Many people get them just for fun, short drives in warm weather, and they have another car…
To make a small correction. Honda Fit was not discontinued, just taken down from US market. It’s still sold in Europe and other regions (called Fit or Jazz) and it’s exclusively hybrid. Price starts at around € 25K.
