I’m almost certain Toyota was using a 3-speed into the 2000's

On top of increasing demand, it’s also a last minute flight and potentially for the last few flights. That pricing doesn’t seem that different from last-minute Canadian flights I’ve booked before (which is to say it’s normal Air Canada gouging rather than trying to capitalize on a natural disaster).

Hot Rod’s Bad Seed (a Chevette with a 500ci Cadillac engine wedged in) will forever live rent-free in my head. SBC would be a hoot, the sensible fun choice was probably just the 3800 (pretty sure that’s been done enough as well).

So, season 1 was the season they starred in, which was season 1?

Which season was it that starred Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, and Allison Tolman again?

Fewer outright bad cars? Less time for Stockholm Syndrome to set in on the newer bad cars?

I've been out-pedantic'd, and I'm here for it.

The plural of Lego is Lego.

Do the Herbs have a big investment in Bravo or something? They keep trying to make this happen, even if it looks like no one cares.

I admittedly haven’t driven a gen 1 Volt since 2015, but I remember it being fine, not really more than adequate.

I have a house and detached garage on a significantly smaller piece of land (~80'x33' IIRC), although it comes a bit at the expense of yard space (postage stamp front yard which exists mostly for neighbourhood dogs to poop on, and just enough space in the back for a small playground and patio set, so thankfully

First gen was a fair bit slower (9.2, which is still adequate, but maybe a tougher sell at its price point). The first gen styling/interior with the second gen powertrain would be ideal (even better as the Vauxhall/Opel Ampera), but alas they dulled down the looks for second gen.

One good thing about terrible cars is there’s zero guilt in hooning them. Chevettes were poorly built gutless rattletraps (and surprisingly thirsty with the automatic), but something gutless, RWD, and on cheap tires is begging to spend all winter sideways.

Also, didn’t the MB decline in quality start in the early/mid-90's, through a combination of biodegradable bits to hit recycling targets and just not knowing how to be competitive once Lexus came around and severely undercut them on price? They’re starting to disappear, but for a while, there was no shortage of

Better or worse than a 22 year old high schooler?

The Monaro GTO - what, you think I’m gonna launch into a diatribe about the styling? Hell no, I’m perfectly down with the looks, I’m happy they didn’t do some cartoonish retro thing. We just didn’t get them new in Canada, so there are virtually none available, no certainly not at a reasonable price (see also G8 GXP,

The choice to show his performance at the Spa 24 Hours in real time, scored by Garbage’s I Think I’m Paranoid on endless loop was a bold loop.

Right now, the thing my wife and I most agree on is that a Wrangler with the Ursa Minor pop-top would be neat, that’d put me around $60k

Misremembered ‘59 launch as ‘59 model year.

Someone needs to tell his insurance company that it’s the ‘59-’63's that are unsafe at any speed, not his ‘66.
