That's why you post a video in your Facebook feed, Russ, then nobody from the NFL will ever see it.
The league's security apparatus sure is quick and thorough on such important matters.
Just so we're clear: grab balls = fine, possibly yardage penalty in the Super Bowl; deflate balls = deferred, meaningless punishment, if anything at all.
"That's BS," said Wilson rep Jim Jenkins,.
Fuck Wilson. The dude just up and swims off at the first sign of rough weather. Some friend.
I'm a conservative, tax-hating, right winger (although, not card-carrying), and I support this message. I am so tired of billionaire owners who make more BBBBBBBIllions every year needing to shakedown cities for public monies. I'm not usually an "enough is enough" type person, but in these cases it is.
McNair is absolutely a first class asshole. Guy is one of the biggest political donors amongst NFL owners. And it all goes to government-drowning, tax-hating, right-wingers. Wouldn't be a problem save for the fact that he is all too happy to take hundreds of millions in public money to pay for his stadium. Fuck that…
Roger Goodell, the senator's son, has never held a job outside of the NFL. Is it any wonder he has zero sense of perspective and carries with him a huge amount of arrogance and douchebaggery?
Roger's follies have honestly made it so I can't even watch football without thinking of all of the sport's inherent flaws and surrounding issues. So, in short, he has made me a more critical thinker about the game I love so much. I can't just turn my brain off and watch anymore.
Uh he appealed as was his right and it was proven that the test was inaccurate but hey why let facts or a collective bargaining agreement get in the way of your opinion.
As usual, Sherman was just blowing a lot of hot air. Thankfully, the Patriots' footballs were nowhere near the conference room at the time.
I think Goodell was tossing his salad.
He looks like James Gandolfini right before his fatal heart attack...bloated, sweaty, and in desperate search of trying to suffocate Tom Jackson after their car accident.
Goodell: Well, see, what you have to understand is that Marshawn grabbing his junk during the game doesn't make the NFL or its owners any money, whereas selling pictures of him doing so does. So, what I'm saying is, I'm a shameless whore.
Very true, I'll even admit I lost some respect for the team when the evidence came out but at this point their are so many contrasting reports and stories coming out of the league that I don't even care about the truth I just want some fucking closure, even if that means punishment.
Probably because he was wrong. "Receivers lose about an inch"? First of all, that's an incredibly negligible trade-off for a more easily thrown and/or caught ball. Because more certain forward progress is better than none.
If they had come clean right away, it would be over. Cover-ups live forever (see Watergate).
is anyone else calling this ballghazi or just you guys ?
The rest of the enlightened world does as well. The only people that don't believe in it, are, well, in fact glue-huffing apes.
