In both movies, Sarah Connor is repeatedly saved by a male hero who has to die to save her. By the time the second movie comes around, she’s genuinely sociopathic and her every impulse is misguided and stupid. And then she can’t even follow through and has to *again* be saved. This time from herself.

From the People article.

Exactly. In the wave of the WW hype, people were passing out that meme comparing WW with Ripley from Aliens, to the the effect of: “Ripley was the original bad ass female character! Take that, WW!” And it’s like, wtf? Why are we pitting great female action characters against each other? Why can’t we appreciate both? I

It’s cringingly ironic that he’s slamming Wonder Woman for being ‘self-congratulatory’, while at the same time breaking his arm to pat himself on the back for his own (in his perception) brilliant work. Fuck off, Cameron. Mr. “I’m King of the World” doesn’t get to spout off on the “right” way to be a feminist.

My mama would say “all his taste is in his mouth”

“I mean, I didn’t make it. So how can it be good? I just don’t understand the world anymore....”

A tank top and NO BRA

The business of Hollywood IS objectification. So I don’t know why he’s acting like he’s telling truth to power when his whole career has been based on it as much as anyone else’s.

What he’s missing is that it doesn’t have to be Wonder Woman OR Sarah Connor— we can have BOTH. They’re completely different women, because there isn’t just one type of woman, and the idea that we can only have one archetype of feminist icon is fucking stupid.

Direct eye contact is unacceptable even between friends. Touch is acceptable between friends and family. There is no touching between strangers.

O, ye of little faith. He is 100% pure and 100% lethal. If that doesn’t spell orgasm for her then I don’t know what would...lol

I should sign my work emails this way.

Finally, an apology that doesn’t mention a Nazi death camp.

We may have a seat for you on this forgiveness round.

I believe deeply in workplace diversity regardless of race, gender, creed or sexual orientation

Allow me to translate:

So basically, “hi I’m so sorry, call me maybe, and I’m not going to actually offer you any kind of reparations or resign or sign up for therapy or do anything that would ACTUALLY show that I’m sincere in my apology but gosh I feel bad please forgive me so I can go back to being the dick I was 20 minutes ago before HR

I find it weird that he didn’t even apologize to his ex assistant in this note. He spends the entire “apology” repenting to what seems like the world and doing his own damage control. He said something totally debasing about one specific person and he doesn’t even think to address her specifically? Bro, bye.

This is at least a somewhat well worded email that apologizes without reservation.
