For some reason, their relationship works, even though Aronofsky thinks that her “reality TV obsession” is “vastly disappointing.”

this... jeeezuz. What is that bill - lunch? 2 drinks? Zero interest in defending K or anyone else, but in this case the establishment is a full dick for ever posting that. Tiny bill, a million possibilities and wow... crying righteous over $5.

It’s almost a “thing” now.

Seriously, a 20% tip is $5. This is a lot of fuss over $5.

Exactly. That guy was seriously unhinged, but he has every right to hold those fucked up and incorrect beliefs.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

To all the commenters over on giz: see this is why you can’t be writing shit like this at work. Whether you agree with what he said or not, it’s a liability for the company.

Pfft. Everyone knows Jack the Ripper was really Prince Albert in disguise as HH Holmes.

That saying about the way people treat underlings being true of the way they treat loved ones has been true, in my experience. Shitty tippers and dudes who were demanding to the waitstaff always ended up being selfish boyfriends and sexual partners. In stupidest my youth, I dated someone who would either complain

Yes, I think this is shitty move on the staff/establishments part. Unless she was being a jerk while she was there or something.

It seems like this establishment realized a lot of people are looking for an excuse to hate this woman and thought this would get them attention, which it has. I always tip generously but any bartender could easily post this same tweet about me because I usually tip in cash.

Even though Kendall should have tipped, going the route of publicly shaming someone for something like this and for such a small amount doesn’t garner any sympathy for the person who posted that photo. If I lived in NY, it would keep me from going there.

Not to mention it depends on what was taking place. I go to a take out place all the time and I never tip on the card, mainly because I’m not using table service. I’ll throw a couple dollars in the tip jar instead because all they did was bag/hand me the food and take my money, I did not sit down for service or get

I can’t even begin to unravel this knot or how I feel about/fit into it. In early middle age I found myself getting fatter until I was finally obese and getting obese-er. I was in great shape, healthy as a horse, could bike and run and stuff, and I sincerely felt okay with who I was and the body I had. But I also knew

God, YES.

I’m a real estate agent here and SAME. I add a rider to every lease where I mostly just reiterate a few key portions of the lease in very simple language with the hope that the people who skip over the legalese will read ten sentences in the rider.

Yeah, I read the Washington Post story, and it could be a lot shorter if it just said “a lot of people didn’t read the original contractand decided to go to war over $125, but upon reading everyone went ‘uh-oh, our bad, nvm’”.

Lawyer here. God yes! Fucking read the contract!!

Fuck these people.
