So it appears May’s decision to pull the Withdrawal vote yesterday for fear she’d lose it badly has now caused the needed 48 letters of no-confidence to trigger a leadership contest to have been handed in. I really hope Sarah Wollaston or Anna Soubry go for it as they’re rational people.

Problem is every avenue to change that has been ruined by party politics. The unions these days are more just Labour leadership battlegrounds than distinct organisations who happen to affiliate with the Labour Party.

Most people who voted Leave simply wanted to voice their discontent with the status quo, something the parties themselves have now acknowledged but they’re still going to refuse a second ref anyway because of ideology and pride...

Thing is Corbyn And May wont back it because they both love it. May was the most cruel anti-immigrant Home Sec in years while Corbyn is a diehard Bennite, an ideology that views the EU as a “German Empire”.

As someone who watched Watership Down much too early (I don’t blame my parents, they trusted the library filmstrip collection), I can also tell you it’s about rabbits. Violent rabbits that are often drenched in blood, but still a bunch of rabbits.

Watership Down is also a story about traumatizing the ever-loving fuck out of children by showing rabbits mauling the shit out of each other in a gory animated movie.
