I was just thinking about this today while out around town. I try to make eye contact and at least reply to anyone who speaks to me. That’s a pretty cool volunteer gig you’ve got. There’s a local warm sock drive happening, so I’ll donate to them.

Shelter Cat Update!

My dad got a new dog after having to put his companion down. (Old Jack Russel lost a fight with a raccoon.) This is Mookie! His ears are sooooooo soft.

We are staring down the barrel of a 9-inch “snow and ice event” tonight through tomorrow. So at this moment, I am sous vide-ing two boneless ribeyes; Ms Street is roasting Yukon Golds and saute-ing fresh spinach; and I’m finding that vodka in orange-flavored seltzer is just my cup of tea.

Dear Jezzies, I’ve been trying to find some good companies that offer work from home opportunities. So far I’ve looked into Appen and Lionbridge. Does anyone have other suggestions? This whole unemployed thing has turned me into a mopey cow, so I’m spending the rest of the day giving love and encouragement to others.

Had a terrible interview recently. Sometimes I’m great in an interview and sometimes I get nervous and just can’t get my feet under me. It’s a shame because it would have been a great job but I came off as an anxiety-ridden rabbit.

I’ve been putting on the pounds over the past few months, and I need to start shedding a lot of weight. I’m starting a high protein, low carb diet, and I’ve increased the amount of strength training I do at the gym. Aside from that, does anyone here have any advice from their own experience on how to lose weight fast?
