Indeed it is. Yes it has it’s shortcomings. But I won’t go so far as shitty. It’s great for grilled cheese. And thanks to this little machine I discovered the awesome combination of a grilled PB and Nutella. Grilled PB&J. Grilled coconut butter and Nutella. In short, it’s great for hot sandwhiches.

Some fine points you bring up there. Perhaps navigation is not as labor intensive as you think? The bulk of the crew is there to maintain complex systems but as far as pointing the ship and firing things, you don’t need to know as much. And presumably every admiral knows the basics of working the navigation systems.…

Fair enough. But any storyteller should strive for internal consistency and logic within the story. With something as grand in scope as Star Wars, that’s probably asking too much and now that we have multiple people writing and directing, we shouldn’t hold our breaths. But it’s worth asking for anyway.

Mystery is fun though. I certainly won’t fault him for that. I will fault him for making the first movie of this trilogy a remake of the first movie in the original trilogy. What a missed opportunity.

Absolutely and if you watch the clone wars series, you get a sense of how much they’re tied down by bureaucracy. Anyone who has worked any length of time can relate to they typical office bullshit and politics everyone deals with and the Jedi weren’t immune to this.

That’s good to know. It would have taken some of the enjoyment out for me if he had made the movie only for self-serving ends. His response to the backlash is as good as it gets. I definitely look forward to whatever he does with his own trilogy.

Not that this is an example of telling the other movies to eat shit but what’s up with Admiral Holdo being stunning? Her outfit doesn’t look military nor does it look ceremonial. She looked like she should have been on that casino world or in a James Bond movie.
