Have a very Merry Christmas, Maya.

That’s a wonderful reminder. My family did this every year when I was growing up, and it’s a great inspiration to look into local opportunities to start it up again in my own household.

Merry Christmas, Maya. Someday soon, wonderful things will happen for you, and you will deserve and be worthy of them. Please believe this.

My work does a lot of charity, mostly I give money because I’m too busy to shop more. This year I had no little kids to buy for so I volunteered to put a bag together for a kid living in a temporary situation (likely a cheap motel). All I Got was a name and age, wish they included sizes. I started with useful

Peace and hugs to you, Maya.

Shelter Cat Update!

Hi! I’ve had a good week!

Happy Christmas, Maya! It’s wonderful that you’re volunteering <3 And you’ve convinced me to find time tomorrow to buy some mascara for my church’s gift collection for the women’s refuge.

Maya, I popped in hoping to see you, and am rewarded. I wish you all of life’s joy, for the holidays and going forward. May next year be a better year. I know that your little slice of the world is better because you are in it.

Big love to you Maya, we are the miracles we are waiting for.

Make your own new non-toxic holiday traditions. Give yourself as much of the dream holiday experience as you can have this year, and see it as a foundation you can add to over the years.

It might not sound really exciting, but I’m looking forward to him opening it. In the spring my husband and I went to a chocolate making demonstration, and this French chocolatier had samples, one was, in his opinion, the best chocolate in the world, and it was really good chocolate. I’m feeling very holiday-unhappy. I’m trying to look ahead but holidays bring so many unwanted, dreadful memories and feelings from growing up with that absolute hell vortex of a family. Plus I don’t have any gift exchanging or parties to go to or anything. It's a very dragged-down feeling.

I managed to get some great gifts for my husband despite only spending $50, so I'm really stoked. Etsy and eBay are my best friends. Anybody else score some good finds for cheap? We had a tough year financially (yay medical bills, even when you've got insurance!) so I'm really stoked that I managed to pull this off.

After a good session clearing out today, we have a bunch of stuff to run to a local charity shop and even more to get to the dump somehow. I think much of what’s in the loft now are toys, a couple of boxes of books (not junk!), pillows/duvets and luggage

Thank you for the update, your generosity is an example to us all ❤️

We’re in the holiday spirit over here. I made gingerbread, the edges got a bit wavy because of the parchment paper liner, but no regrets! I didn’t have a pan to clean on top of bowls and utensils! I’m more upset that I ruined my powdered sugar pattern on top. I also made mulled cider, some wassail if you will, so it’s

Here’s the latest update on the new apartment.(a.k.a. Casa drip drip) The leaks have continued to spread, and now the ceiling in the bedroom needs to be opened as well. Another apartment will be available next month and I will be transferring to that if I can get Section 8 approval. It’s a huge hassle to move twice in

Maya hi! I will indeed donate, and thank you for reminding us about this. It's important. Merry Christmas my friend!
