I used to work at Moffett Field and on several occasions saw a a C-5 parked next to an Antonov Condor which were both parked next to Hangar One which dwarfs then both. It makes an onlooker lose all proportion of scale. Where am I???

Anyone interested in this subject should immediately read The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson. A quick and engaging read with tons of substance. You won’t regret it.
But Acura has such good resale value?!
This may be the list, but this can’t be the extent of the secret sauce. None of this is terribly novel. I can only imagine what it would be like to work with him.
Why do I get the feeling that these guys probably aren’t the only ones who have had this idea... Is the SEC data mining to detect indicators of fraud?
I’m totally impressed that they have such a good solution to the problem of high wind around parked planes. Regardless of if it was actually lifting the plane, the wind could certainly push the nose around and cause major damage.
Is there a tech company other than Oracle that would employ this person? I can’t come up with any that have their priorities so misaligned with those of their customers.
If this was a dealer auction, the auction would unwind that sale so fast it would make your head spin. They sell tens of thousands of cars a week and have no time to deal with this crap for one lousy commission. I guess Mecum is just a bunch of amateurs and fraudsters. I never would have guessed. Good to know.
So you’re saying they’re just being different to be different? I’m really not crazy about how those damn things blocks sightlines over the dash. This never used to be a problem. I also seem to notice that usually when people have they’re phones mounted up in their line of sight, they’re generally doing stupid things…
The BBB is entirely a scam. Unless you own a business, you probably haven’t experienced how they try to strongarm a $600 annual payment from small business owners. They really try to make you feel bad for declining and prey on people that don’t know better. They’re worse than salespeople for the yellow pages, and not…
I think the real advice here is don’t do business with friends who don’t know what they are doing or what they want. There is zero excuse for not doing a little due diligence before the transaction and then coming back with weak sauce like wear items and cosmetic issues on the interior. If I was friends with this guy,…
If you haven’t seen the new mythbusters episode from this weekend do it now. Spend the two bucks. Well worth it.
It would actually violate anti-trust laws if they tried.
So so much this

Silly Canadians... Looking for long term benefit over short term gain.
There are a lot of customers who will gladly pay for the right to not be treated like shit. That is an underestimated reason why Tesla has been successful. Saturn also made a real business out of this.
The same holds true for used bikes on Craig’s list BTW. If the price seems too good, it’s either stolen or counterfeit. Some people believe most of the bikes on CL are counterfeit or stolen. Ask for the receipt.
To be fair the Pathfinder is a POS that no one should ever buy. They should have known better
“What’s this random mouse that looks like a knockoff of Logitech and says logi on it”.... carries on with life
