Kind of a stupid thing to hear. The best movies are all character/auteur-driven, doesn’t matter the genre, characters is always at the core of a good story.

From Lord of the Rings to Indiana Jones, Iron Man, Saving Private Ryan, Logan, The Dark Knight, Deadpool, Matrix, Kingsman, etc etc those movies were successful…

I agree, it’s so lazy and unimaginative. 

The base idea of him being old and having to get back to who he was. indeed a good idea, having him dealing with what happened with Anakin was also good. But it was poorly written and executed.

I don’t know, a lot of D+ shows I end up wanting to recut them as a 2h/2H30 movie. Falcon could work, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ahsoka, there is some good stuff in those sadly lost in a lot of unecessary and mediocre parts. But you could maybe do a good movie out of those.

I first tried to watch obi wan when it came out, stopped after 1 and a half episode because it was crap.

A few days ago I decided to try again, I thought maybe I was a bit harsh , maybe my expectations were too high.

Star wars fans doesn’t seem to care much about the medium as long as it is “more star wars”.

Show me one piece of marketing released before the show mentioning rebels.
