That’s interesting. What do the horse people do with the shavings?

I know, I kind of felt like an idiot putting 2 and 2 together like that (he died in 2015, and I was not a preteen in 2015.) I thought the name was kind of like J. Crew, and now I’m going to discover that the company is named after its founder, James Crew, who sold western wear to ranchers in Texas in the late 1800s or

REALLY! Their stuff is so beautifully designed.

Needs more hyphens and a comma.

That was very Warhol. He and Warhol are contemporaries. If Warhol had lived he’d be 90, to Mike’s 89.

I’m sure she has Alice Waters’s vote.

It’s pretty good, it just pales in comparison to all the othe “Ttanic”s I’ve seen. Did you know that there’s a Nazi “Titanic”? It was made in Nazi Germany and was released in 1942. It’s on YouTube in sections, or at least it was at one point.

I’m pretty sure Telemundo has translation subtitling capabilities for the folks watching at home.

The “Titanic” death puts the whole plot of “Downton” in motion, is introduced within the first five minutes of the very first episode, and then dismissed. Very Julian Fellowes, the creator. I will say no more. There are as many plots and subplots on “Downton” over the course of its run as there are on American soap

Yes, the Italian friend! Fabrizio! I haven’t seen “Titanic” in years but the memories come flooding back like waves from the North Atlantic drowning the stoic older couple in bed in their stateroom :(

Oh God. I skipped the debates, but found the clip on YouTube.

I just wrote a long thought piece, see above, below, wherever kinja puts it, about what it would be like if the men in a theoretically gay George’s line of succession lived to be 98, like his great-grandfather is now.

I don’t think the world will become a homophile paradise any time soon but I did a little Royal Family research. George, William’s eldest, with be 6 next month. Let’s start from there.

After I posted this I thought, “Wait, Max, you’ve seen “Titanic” more times than you should admit. Though Jack wins his ticket at a card game on the docks (is he on the docks? Did I make this up too?) and is hanging around steerage dancing jigs doesn’t he at some point say he’s from America?”

I was thinking the same thing, it looks like all of the suits were either borrowed or rented at the last minute. Eric, perhaps wisely, half-hid himself, but that was probably more Dad saying, “No, you get in the back.”

That’s priceless. Of course in Hameau de la Reine Poundbury cling film hasn’t been invented yet, so how would he know what it is?

One of the “joys” of “Titanic” is Jack Dawson’s accent. Is he Irish? Or Irish but lived in England for most of his life? Or maybe of American parentage that moved to Ireland, had him, and then went over to England, is that why he’s so eager to get to America?

When Jerry Garcia died someone told me about seeing the Dead in concert and how great her memories of it were. I said, “If you remember it at all it couldn’t have been that much fun.”

McCain could indeed reach across the aisle! The other four Keating 5 Senators were Democrats, but since this was an Arizona-based S&L racket he jumped right in!

Every time I post a comment on Jezebel I think, “Maybe this time/I’ll get lucky” and others will find it interesting and/or amusing.
