I think “PR firm founder accused of sexual assault” is better. I thought the same thing as you! I know we live in a headline society but, sheesh, you don’t have to try to fit the entire story in there.

Wikipedia should not be lumped in with “progressives.” There are many actions, petitions, scholarly papers, boycotts by academics and former editors, and so on, objecting to Wikipedia’s poor sourcing and vetting and near total domination by male writers and editors.

Shouldn’t the headline read ‘Sexual Assault by Founder’? When I first read it, I thought it meant they’d somehow closed down because the founder had been sexually assaulted by someone.

I did wonder if maybe the folks over at the other c-span channels weren’t just a tad jealous that they weren’t getting this much attention: Damn it! Why didn’t someone from the audience ask Prof. Cecil Higsonnsen if they could shit in his mouth during his Q&A about his upcoming new translation of Icelandic Eddas?

he didn’t seem repulsed...maybe the caller has heard things...

I’m guessing he wants to say yes but he’s on tv.

May he.

Well, can he?

I hadn’t heard that! But I can attest to the erudition of her list.

Second this comment. I worked two desks down from her office at Doubleday, as a lowly editorial assistant (not to her). Saw her all the time, never could make my eyes work right on her face.

Seriously. I would love to see something focused on her days as a book editor.

It’s the eyes — Jackie’s were very wide set. My mom took a drawing class from someone who had known her, and he said it was difficult to look her in the eyes when talking because they were so far apart. Also, it’s one of the reasons that so many pictures of her were taken at an angle and not straight on.

Now playing

I wouldn’t have characterized Jackie’s voice as low and smokey. I think it was somewhat on the higher side, and at times she sounded breathy.

More like “Lackie” because there’s definitely something missing. I think it’s the bone structure. I know that there is a way for actors to tighten and release facial muscles, as well as use prosthetics, but there just isn’t a single shared feature. Katie Holmes at least had the pointy chin, less angular face shape,

Idk guys, I saw Parker Posey play Jackie Kennedy one time and now I’m not sure I can watch a Jackie Kennedy movie WITHOUT seeing Parker Posey playing Jackie...

Eeeexcellent- I’ve become rather fond of my leg fuzz ;-)

People at Vogue have things ‘ from the Kardashian collection’? Really?

How Blueberry Jones packs (for any destination):

My only holiday must have is a single cyanide capsule in a small glass bottle, tastefully etched with the words, “Should Emergency Arise.”

It is. Burger King University was here too.
