Oh no, your jpeg of the Canine Donald is even better, because I can forward it to friends in workplaces without explanation.
Maybe the video of Susan Hayward’s star turn as Helen Lawson in 1967’s “Valley of the Dolls” exorcised him/her/it!
It is a truth universally acknowledged that no one on earth produces better kitsch and clutter than the English.
You’re right, they would have landed at Liverpool, probably, which is pretty close to Yorkshire, where Downton Abbey is set. The Lusitania was bound for Liverpool before it was sunk. On the other hand the Titanic left England from Southampton, and if their ship had docked there they would have made their way to London…

And who’s to say she hasn’t? Her sister, Princess Margaret, apparently liked to have a good time and may have enetertained a Turkish diplomat or two.
And if Sam brings Woody with him it will give Thomas someone new to ogle. Maybe Thomas can teach Woody how to rewind the clocks.
You are quite right about Fellowes. I read that he’s working on a new series called “The Gilded Age,” which is set in New York in the 1880s, and must be about the ruthless industrialists who became incredibly wealthy during the period.
