Use a shoe. You can forget your kid, your lunch, your computer, but you ain’t going anywhere with one shoe off.

The controls thing does seem weird coming from pedal bikes. Think about it like this: stopping and going is all on the right side, shifting is all on the left side.

Yeesh. I guess they frown on passing at that place. I’m dizzy.

Except that dulls the finish. No worries, you can hit it with some tire shine to blacken it up and beautify it again.

I’ve not driven those, but it appears that should be suitably quick.

Make a weekend of it. You’ll have fun. Possibly be scared shitless, but fun either way.

Sorry if I missed, this was supposed to be posted in praise of your math.

It’s not white/silver/dirt, so yes, you are!

Most newer-ish cars are pretty reliable and can last well beyond 100,000 miles with regular maintenance.

Woowee. My truck is 84 people years old and my corvette is 95 people years. Now get off our lawn with your nav systems and Blueteeths.

Anecdotally, I’m firmly in the camp that it’s cheaper to keep what you have. Barring major body or frame damage, anything you replace is likely to be cheaper than a few months of new car payments. Any “new” used car is just another used car and will have similar issues to you current one.

Those look like newer CRG chassis, probably running a Honda GX270. 8-10hp instead of the 3-6hp you get from old style flathead motors. The chassis is much closer to that of an actual racing kart and will handle as such. The thin tubes and narrow tires on fun karts really don’t perform like a proper race kart.

Good luck selling that to anyone on a racetrack. I routinely see guys doing the tire heat waggle so hard they’re basically turning 90s on two wheels.

I realize skinny models make clothes look better, but is the skinny leg thing standard or does that get adjusted out to a more traditional fit if you’re not runway-shaped?

My wife recently got certified as a car seat installer by the national firefighter something or other. It was a week-long course with a not-small text book.

Compartmentalization is why. A slap in the face is better than whipping their tiny necks around.

Was the instructor with you the whole time? Kinda reads like they only did that your first session...
