69 is peak mustang.

They had to reengineer the doors because the original Lotus hinges squeak and howl far too much for a $200k car.

It’s an Elise; not much room for fanciness.

I already have it: Roadkill, Hot Rod Garage, and Roadkill Garage.

Just like all the motorcycle idiots without helmets who “don’t plan to get into an accident.” So why do they need helmets?

Good luck convincing everyone that is worse. That thing is perfect.

Have one keeper car and one line of trade-ins. I cycled through 4 vehicles in three years paying only tax and title fees while keeping my truck as the unmolested, reliable vehicle. It’s fun if you’re not trying to work too hard to turn huge profits.

It’s kinda hard to move across the country when you have no money and just your (old, worn out) shoes for transport.

I get that there are differnces in the grades of materials, but everyone seems to hate plastic. What are car guts supposed to be made of? Whale dickskins and wood veneer?

Corvette-ish, to be fair. Iron heads at least, maybe cam differences too. I had an Impala SS for a wee bit, but the seats were such worn out garbage I couldn’t comfortably drive the thing more than 20. A shame too, it would eat highway miles.

GTOs seem to be wrecked with a fervor only bested by late model mustangs. I’ve seen more listed with a salvage title than I have clean ones, at any price. I’m not even sure they came from Pontiac with clean titles.

Drew Magary, everyone!

They are the scourge of Lemons races everywhere. Demonic little buggers.

Hank Moody approves of your beater Porsche.

Why are gallardo brakes an upgrade for a Murc? Seems like the bigger faster car should have good stoppers already.

“Bro-mm” like roam, right? That’s not a deal breaker for me because I think they’rejust goobers, but it does sound kinda silly.

I’d wager that a full-dress $67k truck does not have the 2.7.

My 02Z read 27mpg on it’s best highway cruise. I could average 20ish, but realistically you’ll hoon it down to mid-high teens.

This is funny and sad because I have both of those vehicles. But I don’t drive newer shit so I’m used to it.

Kristen wins this one for me. Only possible problem is head room. At 6'2" it might get close if you’re more torso than legs. I’m 5'10" and my helmet juuuust clears the roof.
