manufacturing engineering technology guy here. it’s a real live 4 year engineering school, but more machining/process flow/mechanical lab stuff and less calculus/diff-eq. Every job I’ve had since is exactly the same as the mechanical engineers I work with. Lots of HR folk think it’s garbage and there were recruiters…
