That would only be true if a car’s acceleration and deceleration rates were perfectly linear, which they never are. A car’s acceleration rate tapers off as speed increases.
I think it’d be cool to see a 0-100-0 distance become a standard performance metric. Time doesn’t offer much resolution as a measurement for braking.
