I wouldn’t say it’s a “forever car”, but my Tacoma is definitely a “Til death do us part truck”.

The hallmark of a traditional automatic is the use of planetary gearsets. It looks to me like this is a plain ol’ manual gearbox with clutches where the synchros normally go.

From watching the video, it sounds like a regular constant-mesh trans, except it uses clutches instead of synchros/dogs.

Oh yeah? Well let’s see you go to Georgia and say that to its face!!

Not to mention you need a tailgate to haul a motorcycle if you have a 5' bed. With a 6' bed, the contact patch of a sportbike/dirtbike back tire is at the very edge.

Australia is the place that draws a hard line in the sand on tobacco advertising???

The side windows make it weird.  If they made the beltline straight like basically every other car ever made, it’d be a looker.

Yeah, I mean, I think part of being payed millions of dollars to play sportsball on television is putting up with fans’ nonsense... Buuuuuuut it’s not the worst thing in the world for a 7' pile of muscle to put an asshole in check for being an asshole.

The obvious answer is to have illegal immigrants design planes... They have amazing vehicles. Incredible vehicles that nothing our border patrol has can catch.

It was funny the first time I heard it... less funny the 39,238th time, but take your star anyway because it had to be said.

I agree so hard! I like small cars, but have a weird aversion to convertibles. I’d be all over a clownshoe Miata.

Curiosity got the best of me, so I went and looked at what new RF’s were going for...

Yeah, they for sure had a reputation as dyno queens. The old joke used to be “What does a 300 whp and a 500 whp Supra have in common? They both run 12's!”

A stock Supras is nothing special... However, men of a certain age remember a time in the long long ago, before the LS1 rose to prominence, when Supras were the king of the roll racing scene.

The Supra is kind of odd duck in this regard, because it’s specialness was rooted in it’s ability to reliably put down 600+whp with not much work... which was a big deal in the late 90's/early 2000's.

Whataboutism is, unfortunately, just part of human nature. If somebody does something terrible that’s even tangentially in a us-vs-them context, people in the same group as that person will start sentences with “Well, what about...”

SSR because it’s the only one you can get with a stick... And if you’re going to look like a bit of a tool, you might as well have the ability to haul or tow stuff.

*ahem*
