To parse that: he proposed that she insist that he propose again.

Headlight design reminds me a little of the new XC90 and Volvo’s “Thor’s Hammer” headlight cue. Intentional or no?

Is it that hard for them to just ask whether they should stick with the 2.0 NA or spring for the 1.6T? Come on, man.

After the first couple pics, I went from “This is so cool!” to “meh” to “this is kinda sad.” Not because the cars aren’t awesome (they are!), but because all of those beautiful old Mitsus are packed in there and probably haven’t been driven in ages. Yes, I’m aware he drives as many of them as he can as often as

I’ve got the best Corollas. There are Corollas out there you’ve never even heard about, and they’re better than the ones you did hear about. The best, the classiest, gold Corollas out there. Many people are saying that the Scion iM is actually a Corolla. Many, many people want to know. Where’s the birth

Or, for maximum levels of NorCal, “hella much.”

Or Elba in a Felix Leiter spinoff?!?

Definitely watch Luther when you get a chance. Awesome, awesome show, and Elba makes a great case for himself as Bond, since he’s (theoretically) on the right side of the law this time around (in contrast with his character in The Wire).

Trump continues to Wade into issues he knows nothing about. Pretty Bullheaded if you ask me.

I was going to comment that this is more of the same tease-y shit we’ve been seeing from Caddy for years... and you beat me to it. Kudos for some well-executed shade.

Well played.

Beautiful car, the DB11, but to be honest my first thought when I saw the picture was, “Jaguar’s making a long-wheelbase F-Type for China?!?”

Fair enough.

...

More “sporty” than “luxury,” no? I guess it depends on your perception of “entry-level luxury” is. To me it seems more like people who want a nice interior and a premium badge and don’t care too much about driving dynamics — the folks who would have bought ES350s five years ago but are now looking elsewhere because

A Honda Accord with a nice interior. Obviously won’t satisfy the badge snobs, but when you look at everything else — build quality, materials, fit and finish, powertrain, driving experience, interior space — it’s all there. And to quickly pre-empt those who’ll argue that a luxury sedan should be AWD/RWD, I don’t think

The new Civic Si and Type-R will ideally fill the cheap speed hole in Honda’s lineup quite effectively... not NA engines like the Integra was, but still reasonably fast, cheap, and hopefully fun to drive.

Hmm, all of these cars appear to be LHD. Does Bentley not do RHD for the Japanese market, or is it just because these are press cars that aren’t specially manufactured to be RHD?

EDIT: Replied to the wrong comment :/
