Cup holders, even in entry level cars now. Ever drive a 30 year old car? Not having to hold your drink between your thighs is a luxury.

Its independence day and I think the idea here is we're so cool everyone wants to be like us.

Mercedes is by far the most American foreign manufacturer that isn't an Australian cousin.

Its still not really part of the car and I'd probably want to use calking on it then. I really hate having a car where it gets water in it that turns into condensation or ice in the winter.

Not having a coupe is the major reason I have never even considered owning a Miata. No way am I owning a soft top. The T-tops were bad enough on my Camaro. I have only owned cars with real roofs since.

That's crazy. My s12 even went up in value when I owned it, albeit from $300 to $500.

He's just tickling its chin.

Sure but the S13 and S14 aren't the only cars you can drift and not that many of them end up are real track cars driven by people that are actually competitive. Many of them get put into ditches by kids that want to be cool.

That's a bit high for where the market is now but yeah craigslist is full of $1000-$1500 s13 without engines.

Then it will be the brown diesel wagon

I know exactly what you're talking about 6-7 years ago I had a friend that had three of these in his yard and another that he used to find every ditch in the county. He paid maybe $500 each and was using a come along and some trees to straighten the frame(s). Now the same sort of piles are going for $1500.

I was talking to a friend about this today. These are getting like the e30 where they are discovered to the point you can't even get a crapcan with rust holes and a quarter million miles for less than $2,000. They're still a good buy but I think they're past being cheap when a Miata in better shape costs less.

I used to live in Everett and I've been past the Boeing factory hundreds of times. I don't know where these trucks are coming from and going to but I feel sorry for anyone that lives anywhere near this.

So many fans on that radiator

Or MASSIVE TESLA COILS!

Yeah having it change frequency with the wheels would be great. So then you can hear the oversteer too.

They should do both ways same weekend, same setup, and the race that counts for points is determined at the end of the weekend by a coin toss.

Wheel to wheel hill climb would be insane. The winner is the driver that leaves his corpse furthest from the start line.

There are other big tracks out there like Talladega and some massive road courses in the Midwest that could be run backwards. Maybe even take the Chicane out of La Sarthe and running it backwards.

The wastegate controls boost under load. They must have just set it up to open up later.
